LAB150 hosted its very first Drug Discovery Summit on June 11, 2019 in the beautiful offices of JLABS Toronto. On hand were our team partners from Evotec as well as entrepreneurs and scientists who have collaborated with LAB150. With five projects funded, and with one of those now negotiating for follow-on investment, we wanted to look back at the successes and lessons learned during the first 18 months of LAB150. The program included two case studies of collaboration between MaRS Innovation and Evotec as well as a close-up on emerging trends from Evotec experts, and the day ended with a highly informative panel discussion on early stage discovery. The event was made successful by an engaged audience of close to a 100 who met afterwards for an informal networking reception.
